The Project 2% Conference was founded
and hosted in 2022 by BADU Mentoring Group and the Black Excellence Network.
Project 2% gives black undergraduates the opportunity to hear from black leaders thriving in their respective industries.
The conference consists of a carousel of masterclasses, keynote speakers and networking.

WHY 2%
As of 2020, black people held less than 2% of leadership roles across a range of industries in the public and private sector. A lack of diverse leadership inevitably impacts decision making and is likely to impact the diversity of recruitment.
